Daniela Latorre receives EU-NN Narcolepsy Young Scientist Award

The award recognizes Daniela Latorre's research on T cells in patients with narcolepsy

During the recent 10th European Narcolepsy Day in Bern (May 18-19) Daniela Latorre from the Sallusto Lab received the Young Scientists Award 2019 from the European Narcolepsy Network (EU-NN), sponsored by the Klaus-Grawe-Foundation. The EU-NN aims to facilitate clinical and scientific progress in the field of narcolepsy and other hypersomnias of central origin.

For Daniela Latorre, it's already the second award for her research in Narcolepsy. She recently received the Best International Young Researcher on Narcolepsy “Icilio Ceretelli” Prize by the Associazione Italiana Narcolettici e Ipersonni onlus (AIN) in Italy. The AIN has been founded in 1996 with the aim to support the research in narcolepsy supporting patients to live a life as normal as possible.
