The Laboratory of Phage-Host Interactions has now officially opened its doors as part of the Institute of Microbiology at ETH Zürich. As a newly established group, we are actively building a collaborative and intellectually vibrant environment that values open communication thoughtful experimentation, and scientific curiosity above all.
We offer short (3 month) research projects and longer (6 month) thesis projects to Master students. These are mainly reserved for students from ETH Zürich and the University of Zürich, but motivated students from other universities may also apply.
We are currently seeking highly motivated PhD students who share our passion for fundamental biology and innovative research. By joining as one of the founding members, you will have the unique opportunity to help shape both the scientific direction of the lab - through projects that reflect your interests and align with our broader vision - and its culture, as we work together to build a positive and supportive environment.
