I am interested in understanding how microbes interact with each other from a metabolic and ecological point of view. The main tools I use in my research are metagenomic analysis and constraint-based metabolic modelling. I am also involved in the NCCR Microbiomes consortium, where I will be using protein structural information to improve metabolic models.
